1. What are the ideal working conditions for HomeCourt AI?

HomeCourt’s mobile AI works in a wide variety of conditions, indoor and outdoor, with or without shooting machine, with or without passer and rebounder. However, HomeCourt will work more accurately in the following conditions:

  • Well lit environment

  • Hoop with net

  • Court with clear court lines

  • 1 shooter (optional: 1 rebounder)

  • Ball with typical color

2. Where should I position my device?

Position your device on a tripod/stand (we recommend this tripod) so that your device can see the player, backboard, and the entire 3PT line. We recommend positioning your device along the sideline near half court so that it has a great view of the basket and the entire 3PT line.

3. How tall should my tripod be?

Your tripod should be at least 3-5 feet in height.

4. How Do I Change Court Type?

When you are about to start a shooting workout, tap on the “Settings” tab on the bottom left and then swipe to the left to Court Type.

5. How do I get Audio Feedback?

While recording, tap on the volume icon on the top left to make sure volume is turned on.

6. How do I customize which audio feedback I want to hear?

While recording, tap on the settings button on the bottom left. Select Makes, Attempts, Accuracy, or In A Row to hear those categories. 

If your device supports real-time shot analysis feedback, scroll right and tap on your desired metric to get real-time audio feedback.
