Currently, you can track 1000 shots for free each month. The counter will refresh at the start of each month.
What device(s) does HomeCourt work with?
To record workouts, please use one of the following devices:

You can use an iPhone 5s or later to view videos, data and stats.
Where should I position my device?
Position your device on a tripod/stand (we recommend either the tripod and mount or this phone stand) so that your device can see the player, backboard, and the entire 3PT line. We recommend positioning your device along the sideline near half court so that it has a great view of the basket and the entire 3PT line.
What are the ideal working conditions for HomeCourt AI?
HomeCourt’s mobile AI works in a wide variety of conditions, indoor and outdoor, with or without shooting machine, with or without passer and rebounder. However, Homecourt will work more accurately in the following conditions:
- Indoor, well lit environment
- Hoop with net
- Court with clear court lines
- 1 shooter (optional: 1 rebounder)
- Ball with typical color
How tall should my tripod be?
Your tripod should be at least 3-5 feet in height.
How do I change the court type?
You can change the court type by tapping on “Profile” , selecting Edit/Pencil icon, going to Preferences and then changing the Court Type.
Can HomeCourt track 3 point attempts even if there is no 3 point line?
Yes, HomeCourt can track 3 point attempts as long as we have clear vision of the basket and the position of the free throw line.
How do I change my player information, such as height and position?
You can change your player information by going to Profile and then tapping on the Edit/Pencil icon on the top right.
How do I invite my friends/family/coach to join my HomeCourt Team?
Tap on the Teams icon on the navigation bar
Tap on “Invite” to send an link to the coach/friend to join your team

We strive to provide you control over how your information on HomeCourt is shared. Here’s a quick summary of our privacy settings:
Profile and Shooting Privacy:
Private – All shooting workouts are private by default, and only visible to you. Any follow request must be approved by you. Your shooting workouts do not appear on public or team leaderboards, or your followers’ feeds. You can change the privacy setting of an individual workout at any time to override this setting. Only your name, team, position, profile picture, and height are public.
Teammates and Followers Only – Anyone on your teams and anyone you approve as a follower can see your shooting workouts. Teammates and Followers will receive notifications about your HomeCourt activities. Your shooting workouts may appear on team leaderboards, but will not appear on public leaderboards. Team admins, coaches and trainers can export and share your workout videos. You can change the privacy setting of an individual workout at any time to override this setting. Only your name, team, position, profile picture, and height are public.

Your agility workouts may appear on team leaderboards, but will not appear on public leaderboards. Team admins, coaches and trainers can export and share your workout videos. You can change the privacy setting of an individual workout at any time to override this setting.
Public – Anyone on HomeCourt can view your agility workouts. Your agility workouts may appear on public leaderboards. Team admins, coaches and trainers can export and share your workout videos. You can change the privacy setting of an individual workout at any time to override this setting.
You can manage your privacy settings by visiting your profile -> edit -> privacy.
For even more granular control, you can edit privacy settings for each individual workout by going to profile -> workouts -> session -> settings (gear icon on the top right) -> privacy.
If you change your overall privacy settings, workouts that were previously recorded using different privacy settings will remain as they were originally. You can change the privacy settings of those individual workouts at any time to override this setting.
2. Change your privacy settings on specific workouts.
After you finish a workout, tap on the (…) icon on the top right, then tap “Privacy Settings” to change the privacy of the specific workout.
What can I do if my workout is inaccurate?
If your find your workout has inaccurate shot location or has inaccurate make/miss, please shake your phone and tap on "Report a Problem"
How accurate is HomeCourt?
When the app is set up properly, our testing has shown HomeCourt to be highly accurate. We are constantly improving HomeCourt to be accurate in every basketball environment possible.
How do I share HomeCourt with family members and friends?
HomeCourt supports a feature called “Squads” which allows a HomeCourt Pro subscriber (the Organizer) to share their HomeCourt Pro subscription with three other players (family members, friends, etc.) Players on a squad can get all the benefits of HomeCourt Pro and also easily share devices when working out with their family members or friends.
